4. Clean Coffee & Pop Stains

Rent or buy an extractor wet type only. Pour cold water on to the stain and suck it up right away. Repeat this procedure three or four times until the pop is gone. You must then put fan on it until the area is dry.

16. Remove Old &New Vegetable Oil Stains

To remove either a new stain or old one . First go to any dollar store and purchase cheap baby powder. Cheap baby powder contains excess talc which will absorb the oil. Lightly pour the baby powder over the stain and let sit overnight. In the morning broom away the mixture of baby powder and oil. Do not vacuum to prevent damage to the vacuum motor. Repeat the procedure if necessary.

26. Permanent Carpet stain Removal

To repair a permanent carpet stain which cannot be cleaned out . Cut out the stain and square the section off. Cut a piece of carpet from any left over carpet to match. Obtain carpet glue from any carpet store or Home Depot. Glue the repaired section in place. Place a heavy object but keep level over the area for at least 14 -16 hours to ensure proper bond with materials.

27.  Remove Fresh Or Old Gum From Carpet

Take a teaspoon of peanut butter or as much as needed and massage it into the gum . The peanut butter will absorb the gum. It will then come out of the carpet in chunks. You can also use peanut butter to remove gum from a child’s hair. It works great on hair.
